Horno de San Juan is a family run company with Catalonian roots and deep tradition in pastry. In 1910 the 1st generation of pastry chefs Jean Cubarsí started its activity on a confectionery workshop in the village of French Catalonia, Ceret. Among his specialties include almond paste nougat, pralines, candied fruit and nougats shelf stable.
In 1935, from the hand of Juan Cubarsí, son of Cobarsí and would be the 2nd generation of bakers in the family, moving to Sant Feliu de Guixols. The product range continues to grow and begin to expand the business around the province. Saras highlights, Juanitos, creamy, delicious cream, cream tarts and candied fruit, etc.
In 1960, Cubarsí ‘s son builds their pastry factory in Girona and achieves to expand its business around Spain, and slowly builds its name as a confectionery manufacturer.
In 1995, Joan Cubarsí, the grandson and 3rd generation of Cubarsí achieves to expand the Horno de San Juan sales around Europe.
Currently the company exports its products to over 40 countries worldwide.
